Henri BRICHE is a political science graduate of Jean Monnet University in Saint-Etienne and teaches at Jean Monnet University in Saint-Etienne, at Lumière University Lyon 2 and at BBA INSEEC in Lyon. He is currently completing his thesis dedicated to residential mobility in relation to the urban renovation policies implemented in two formerly industrial cities: Saint-Etienne (France) and Detroit (United States). At the same time, he is leading an evaluation and consultation project for the urban planning agency and urban community of Dunkirk for the introduction of free public transport (2015-2018). He was a guest researcher of the sociology department of the University of Michigan in 2013. He has also worked as the editorial secretary for the Métropoles Internet journal, which is dedicated to French and international modern urban issues.
